- Howdy. Dave Maass here.
I was born and raised in the dead heat of Arizona, but these days I'm living in San Francisco, where I handle media relations at the Electronic Frontier Foundation and do a bit of freelance writing on the side--that's kind of why I still have this site.
As an investigative reporter, I cover issues ranging from election politics to criminal justice, but my journalistic interests span the gamut. I blog about geek culture and I've coordinated multimedia for road rallies. On occasion, I write fiction and literary nonfiction and dabble in photography.
This website features some of my work and I'm adding more each week. Feel free to explore and contact me with any questions at davemaass [at] gmail.com.
