The trailer makes Season 5 look incredible, though I’m not sold on Matt Smith yet. I’m waiting for the personality to burst through. So far, he just looks dopey. I keep telling myself: Have faith in Steven Moffat. If Smith sucks, he’ll only last a season or two. (Knock on T.A.R.D.I.S.)

I was born and raised in the dead heat of Arizona, but these days I'm living in San Francisco, where I handle media relations at the Electronic Frontier Foundation and do a bit of freelance writing on the side--that's kind of why I still have this site.
As an investigative reporter, I cover issues ranging from election politics to criminal justice, but my journalistic interests span the gamut. I blog about geek culture and I've coordinated multimedia for road rallies. On occasion, I write fiction and literary nonfiction and dabble in photography.
